Abstract:
(EN) An extraction system is designed for metal working and other applications. The system comprises a blower that delivers a positive pressure airflow to a hood that creates an air region for removal of airborne components from a work area. The blower is driven by a three-phase motor (24) in a portable base unit that may be plugged into a source of three-phase power. A rotational direction reversing switch (252, 256) is provided between the motor and a three-phase plug to permit reversal of the rotational direction of the motor when the motor is determined not to rotation in the intended direction when the plug is connected to a receptacle. The switch may be manual or automatic.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système d'extraction qui est conçu pour le travail des métaux et d'autres applications. Le système peut comprendre une souffleuse qui délivre un flux d'air à pression positive vers une hotte qui crée une région d'air pour l'élimination des composants atmosphériques depuis une zone de travail. La souffleuse est entraînée par un moteur triphasé (24) dans une unité de base portable qui peut être branchée à une source d'électricité triphasée. Un commutateur-inverseur de direction rotatoire (252, 256) est disposé entre le moteur et une prise triphasée pour permettre l'inversion de la direction rotatoire du moteur lorsqu'il est déterminé que le moteur ne tourne pas dans la direction prévue lorsque la prise est branchée à une prise femelle.
