Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a catalyst, comprising a catalytic element disposed on a substrate, wherein said substrate has formula Ce1-xMxO2, wherein x is between about 0 and about 0.3, optionally between about 0.01 and about 0.3, and wherein M, if present, is a metallic element other than Ce, when used for catalysing a methanation reaction. There is also described use of the catalyst for catalysing a methanation reaction and a method for methanation of a feedstock including carbon monoxide and hydrogen, said method comprising contacting the feedstock with the catalyst.
(FR) L'invention concerne un catalyseur, comprenant un élément catalytique disposé sur un substrat, ledit substrat présentant la formule Ce1-xMxO2, dans laquelle x est situé entre environ 0 et environ 0,3, éventuellement entre environ 0,01 et environ 0,3, et dans laquelle M, s'il est présent, représente un élément métallique autre que Ce, lorsqu'il est utilisé pour catalyser une réaction de méthanation. L'invention décrit également l'utilisation du catalyseur pour catalyser une réaction de méthanation et un procédé de méthanation d'une charge d'alimentation comprenant du monoxyde de carbone et de l'hydrogène, ledit procédé comprenant la mise en contact de la charge d'alimentation avec le catalyseur.
