Abstract:
(EN) This invention relates to methods of using gene co-expression networks for identifying one or more marker genes that allow prediction of the transcription intensity of at least one gene of interest and for predicting the transcription intensity of at least one gene of interest in a given sample. The present invention also relates to methods for identifying a group of genes of interest whose transcription correlates with the transcription of a gene whose transcription is to-be-perturbed and for predicting the effect of the perturbation of the transcription of at least one gene on the transcription intensity of a group of genes of interest in a given organism. Further, the present invention relates to a panel of marker genes and a kit for detecting these marker genes.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés d'utilisation de réseaux de co-expression de gène pour identifier au moins un gène marqueur qui permet la prédiction de l'intensité de transcription d'au moins un gène d'intérêt et pour prédire l'intensité de transcription d'au moins un gène d'intérêt dans un échantillon donné. La présente invention concerne également des procédés pour identifier un groupe de gènes d'intérêt dont la transcription est mise en corrélation avec la transcription d'un gène dont la transcription est à perturber et pour prédire l'effet de la perturbation de la transcription d'au moins un gène sur l'intensité de la transcription d'un groupe de gènes d'intérêt dans un organisme donné. La présente invention concerne en outre un panel de gènes marqueurs et un kit de détection de ces gènes marqueurs.
