Abstract:
(EN) The new method for species determination and intra-species diversity analysis of Staphylococcus strains was revealed. An exemplary way to achieve this is the use of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to obtain the product on the conserved locus template, which is subsequently digested with restriction enzymes (method known as restriction fragments length polymorphism, RFLP). This allows to obtain restriction patterns allowing for species determination. Intra-species diversity analysis for staphylococci is also possible when the RFLP is carried out for properly selected enzymes.
(FR) Cette invention concerne un nouveau procédé de détermination de l'espèce et d'analyse de la diversité intra-espèces chez Staphylococcus. Une façon d'y parvenir consiste à utiliser la réaction en chaîne de la polymérase (PCR) pour obtenir le produit sur la matrice des locus conservés, et à le soumettre ensuite à digestion par des enzymes de restriction (procédé connu sous le nom de polymorphisme de longueur des fragments de restriction, ou RFLP). Ceci permet d'obtenir des profils de restriction permettant de déterminer les espèces. L'analyse des diversités intra-espèces pour les staphylocoques est également possible quand le RFLP est mis en œuvre pour des enzymes dûment sélectionnées.
