Abstract:
(EN) The present invention addresses the problem of providing a pressurized gas-based gas generator that has a simple mechanism for breaking a sealing member and is capable of reliably opening a gas-discharging path. The present invention provides a gas generator (10) wherein a cylindrical housing (11) is formed from an ignition means chamber housing (30) and a pressurized gas chamber housing (20). A piston (50) which can slide in an axial direction is installed inside the ignition means chamber (32). The piston (50) is equipped with: a base section (51) which can slide along the inner circumferential surface (30a) of the ignition means chamber (32); and a projectile section (52) which has an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the base section (51) and can break away from the base section (51). The projectile section (52) breaks away from the base section (51) and flies further into the pressurized gas chamber (22) after colliding against a sealing member (15), thereby opening the sealing member (15).
(FR) La présente invention a pour objet de réaliser un générateur de gaz basé sur un gaz sous pression, doté d'un mécanisme simple pour rompre un élément d'étanchéité et capable d'ouvrir de manière fiable un passage de dégagement de gaz. La présente invention concerne un générateur (10) de gaz caractérisé en ce qu'un boîtier cylindrique (11) est formé d'un boîtier (30) de compartiment de moyen d'allumage et d'un boîtier (20) de compartiment de gaz sous pression. Un piston (50) pouvant coulisser dans une direction axiale est installé à l'intérieur du compartiment (32) de moyen d'allumage. Le piston (50) comporte: une section (51) d'embase capable de coulisser le long de la surface circonférentielle intérieure (30a) du compartiment (32) de moyen d'allumage; et une section (52) de projectile qui présente un diamètre extérieur inférieur au diamètre extérieur de la section (51) d'embase et qui peut se détacher de la section (51) d'embase. La section (52) de projectile se détache de la section (51) d'embase et poursuit sa trajectoire jusque dans le compartiment (22) de gaz sous pression après avoir heurté un élément (15) d'étanchéité, ouvrant ainsi l'élément (15) d'étanchéité.
