(EN)Methods are provided herein for enhancing the effectiveness of medical therapies by administering agents that suppress a biological damage response comprising cellular senescence that is induced by the medical therapy administered to a subject. In certain embodiments, a method is provided for ameliorating toxicity of the medical therapy comprising administering an anti-senescent cell agent that destroys or facilitates destruction of the senescent cells. In certain embodiments, methods are provided for ameliorating toxicity of the medical therapy and for inhibiting metastasis of cancer in a subject who has cancer and receives the medical therapy by administering an anti-senescent cell agent that destroys or facilitates destruction of the senescent cells.
(FR)L'invention concerne des procédés conçus pour améliorer l'efficacité de thérapies médicales par administration d'agents supprimant la réponse à un dommage biologique et notamment à la sénescence cellulaire induite par la thérapie médicale administrée à un patient. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'invention propose un procédé permettant d'améliorer la toxicité d'une thérapie médicale impliquant l'administration d'un agent cellulaire anti-sénescence détruisant ou favorisant la destruction de cellules sénescentes. Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne des procédés permettant, d'une part d'améliorer la toxicité de la thérapie médicale, et d'autre part d'inhiber la métastase du cancer chez un patient cancéreux recevant une telle thérapie médicale consistant en l'administration d'un agent cellulaire anti-sénescence détruisant ou favorisant la destruction des cellules sénescentes.
