(EN)The process of producing an alkylbenzene compound from the alkylation of an aromatic compound with an acyclic monoolefin is an exothermic process. A process for maintaining a relatively constant temperature improves the process and allows for controlling the yields. The process includes recycling a compound through the reactor that is relatively inert, but will moderate the exotherm, while maintaining the 2-phenyl content of the final alkylbenzene product.
(FR)Le procédé de production d'un alkylbenzène à partir de l'alkylation d'un composé aromatique par une monooléfine acyclique est un processus exothermique. Un procédé visant à maintenir une température relativement constante améliore le procédé et permet de maîtriser les rendements. Le procédé inclut le recyclage d'un composé relativement inerte mais modérant l'exothermie à travers le réacteur, tout en maintenant la teneur en 2-phényle du produit alkylbenzène final.
