Abstract:

(EN)The present disclosure pertains to a content provision device, content provision method, program, terminal device, and content provision system that make it possible to receive streaming data from an origin server having a short communication distance. The first aspect of the present disclosure is a content provision device that provides a plurality of data streams having the same content and different attributes in accordance with adaptive streaming technology, wherein a metafile generation unit for generating a metafile that has region identification information for a provider of the data stream written therein and is for selection by a receiving side of the provider and a transmission unit that serves as the provider and transmits the data streams to the receiving side via a network in accordance with a request from the receiving side based on the metafile are provided. The present disclosure can be applied to a content streaming system.

La présente invention peut être appliquée à un système d'émission de contenu en flux.
