Optical communication cross-connection devices, which exchange OTN signals in optical communications, each comprise: a plurality of OTN signal processing units that perform OTN signal processings in an asynchronous manner; and a space switch that is connected among the plurality of OTN signal processing units and that performs bidirectional signal exchanges of OTN signals. Between first and second OTN signal processing units that are included in the plurality of OTN signal processing units and that perform signal transmissions, or between one of the first and second OTN signal processing units that is a communication terminal and an OTN signal processing unit, which is an OTN signal processing unit of another optical communication cross-connection device on the other end of communication with the local optical communication cross-connection device and which is a communication terminal, one of such two OTN signal processing units performs a skew processing of the OTN signals, the other performs a de-skew processing for the skew processing, and the signal transmission clocks are shared.
