Abstract:
(EN) The methods and compositions described herein are useful for modulating expression of REV-ERBα and treating conditions associated therewith. In one embodiment, a method of affecting the cold tolerance, and thus, ability of a mammalian subject to survive extreme temperature changes is provided, comprising modulating the expression of REV-ERBα. In one embodiment, an antagonist of REV-ERBα is utilized.
(FR) Les procédés et compositions décrits ici peuvent être utilisés pour moduler l'expression du récepteur REV-ERBα et traiter les affections associées. La présente invention concerne, selon un mode de réalisation, un procédé de modification de la tolérance au froid et, donc, de la capacité d'un sujet mammifère à survivre à des modifications extrêmes de température, ledit procédé comprenant une étape consistant à moduler l'expression du récepteur REV-ERBα. Dans un mode de réalisation, un antagoniste de REV-ERBα est utilisé.
