Abstract:
(EN) A method for identifying a device reset of a mobile communications device is presented. An identifier associated with the mobile communications device is caused to be sent to a server by a security program on the mobile communications device. Using the security program, a determination of whether there has been a device reset is made. If there has been a device reset, the identifier and an indication that there has been a device reset is caused to be sent to a server, where the security program is not erased during the device reset.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé d'identification de réinitialisation d'un dispositif de communications mobiles. Un identifiant associé au dispositif de communications mobiles est envoyé à un serveur par un programme de sécurité installé dans le dispositif de communications mobiles. Le programme de sécurité est utilisé pour déterminer si un dispositif a été réinitialisé. Si un dispositif a été réinitialisé, l'identifiant et une indication de la réinitialisation du dispositif sont envoyés à un serveur, le programme de sécurité n'étant pas effacé durant la réinitialisation du dispositif.
