Title: DATA TRANSMISSION FROM A WEB-SERVER TO TERMINAL DEVICES BY MEANS OF A WIRELESS NETWORK
Abstract:
The present method includes creating, in a network, a multicast broadcast group for the transmission of data from a web-server to terminal devices by means of a local wireless network, receiving data on client terminal devices and reproducing the received data on the client terminal devices. Prior to transmission of the data from the web-server to the local wireless network, preliminary preparation of the data for transmission is carried out, which includes identifying the type of the data objects; one or a plurality of logical channels are formed in a common passband of the wireless communication network, said channels representing a portion of the common passband of the wireless network for each data object type, and additional preparation of the data objects for transmission is carried out, which includes fragmenting the data objects into a plurality of data packets and marking each data packet with a header containing, at least, information for the transmission of the data packet. The data packets with headers are transmitted into the wireless network in the formed logical channels in a cyclic retransmission mode, or by duplicating the data packets and transmitting the copies of same with a time delay relative to the originals.
