Abstract:
(EN) This invention relates to a large electrically excited synchronous generator (100), comprising a stator (101), and a rotor or rotor coreback (102) comprising an excitation coil (103) generating a magnetic field during use, wherein the rotor or rotor coreback (102) further comprises a plurality of poles (104), where each pole (104) comprises a pole leg (105) and a pole shoe (106) facing the stator (101), the plurality of poles (104) is arranged spaced apart and radially on the rotor or rotor coreback (102), and the magnetic polarity of a given pole is different than the magnetic polarity of its adjacent neighbouring poles. In this way, a large electrically excited synchronous generator (EESG) is provided that readily enables a relatively large number of poles, compared to a traditional EESG, since the excitation coil in this design provides MMF for all the poles, whereas in a traditional EESG each pole needs its own excitation coil, which limits the number of poles as each coil will take up too much space between the poles.
(FR) L'invention concerne un générateur synchrone excité électriquement de grande taille (100), comprenant un stator (101) et un rotor ou support de coeur de rotor (102) comprenant une bobine d'excitation (103) générant un champ magnétique pendant l'utilisation, le rotor ou support de coeur de rotor (102) comprenant en outre plusieurs pôles (104) et chaque pôle (104) comprenant une patte de pôle (105) et un talon de pôle (106) faisant face au stator (101), les plusieurs pôles (104) étant espacés les uns des autres radialement sur le rotor ou support de coeur de rotor (102) , tandis que la polarité magnétique d'un pôle donné est différente de la polarité magnétique des pôles voisins adjacents. Il est ainsi possible d'obtenir un générateur synchrone excité électriquement de grande taille (EESG) qui comprend un nombre de pôles relativement important par rapport aux EESG traditionnels étant donné que la bobine d'excitation de ce concept assure un MMF pour tous les pôles tandis que, dans un EESG traditionnel, chaque pôle a besoin de sa bobine d'excitation propre, ce qui limite le nombre de pôles vu que chaque bobine occupe trop d'espace entre les pôles.
