Abstract:
(EN) A method for determining and/or engineering photosynthetic mutant algal strains comprising: (A) pre-screening wild-type or parent strains to select for photosynthetic efficiency; (B) cause genetic mutations in the group of wild-type and/or parent strains from pre-screening (A) to form genetic mutant strains; (C) screening the genetic mutant strains for photosynthetic efficiency in mass cultures; and (D) further screening the genetic mutants resulting from screening (C) by measuring biomass productivity to select strains having relatively high biomass/lipid/starch productivity.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer et/ou obtenir par ingénierie des souches d'algues mutantes photosynthétiques comprenant: (A) le pré-criblage de souches de type sauvage ou parentes à sélectionner pour l'efficacité photosynthétique; (B) la provocation de mutations génétiques dans le groupe des souches de type sauvage ou parentes à partir du pré-criblage (A) pour former des souches mutantes génétiques; (C) le criblage des souches mutantes génétiques pour l'efficacité photosynthétique dans les cultures de masse; et (D) le criblage ultérieur des mutants génétiques résultant du criblage (C) par mesure de la productivité de biomasse pour sélectionner les souches ayant une productivité relativement élevée de biomasse/lipide/amidon.
