Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a method of producing multi-layer composite material composed of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and fiberglass reinforcement and intended for manufacturing roadside safety barriers, the equipment for implementing the said method, and the multi-layer composite material produced by it. The middle sheet of LDPE (2) is fed downward via the first pair of rollers (1) at an even speed of linear movement, the middle sheet of LDPE (2) is heated to the point of melting temperature by streams of hot air produced by hot air generators (3), fiberglass fabric (5) and the outer sheet of LDPE (6) is applied to one side of the middle sheet of LDPE (2) and braided fiberglass bundles (7) and the other outer sheet of LDPE (6) is applied to the opposite side of the middle sheet of LDPE (2) by the second pair of rollers (4). The braided fiberglass bundles (7), composed of 10 to 20 braided glass fibers each, are fed at a distance of 8 to 20 mm from each other. All layers are compressed by the third pair of rollers (8) improving the adhesion between layers. By way of melting, the middle sheet of LDPE (2) has been embedded with fiberglass fabric (5) and braided fiberglass bundles (7) and has welded the outer sheets of LDPE (6) together. ˙
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de production de matière composite multi-couches composée de polyéthylène basse densité (LDPE) et de renforcement de fibre de verre et destinée à la fabrication de barrières de sécurité en bordure de route, l'équipement pour mettre en œuvre ledit procédé et la matière composite multi-couches produite par celui-ci. La feuille médiane de LDPE (2) est alimentée vers le bas par la première paire de cylindres (1) à une vitesse régulière de mouvement linéaire, la feuille médiane de LDPE (2) est chauffée au point de la température de fusion par des courants d'air chaud produit par des générateurs d'air chaud (3), le tissu de fibre de verre (5) et la feuille externe de LDPE (6) sont appliqués à un côté de la feuille médiane de LDPE (2) et des faisceaux de fibres de verre tressées (7) et l'autre feuille externe de LDPE (6) sont appliqués au côté opposé de la feuille médiane de LDPE (2) par la deuxième paire de cylindres (4). Les faisceaux de fibres de verre tressées (7), composés de 10 à 20 fibres de verre tressées chacun, sont alimentés à une distance de 8 à 20 mm l'un de l'autre. Toutes les couches sont comprimées par la troisième paire de cylindres (8) améliorant l'adhérence entre les couches. Au moyen de fusion, la feuille médiane de LDPE (2) a été noyée avec le tissu de fibre de verre (5) et les faisceaux de fibres de verre tressées (7) et a soudé les feuilles externes de LDPE (6) ensemble.
