Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus for transmitting a signal using a polarimetric antenna to a reception apparatus in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The method includes generating a first matrix using a radiation pattern of the polarimetric antenna, calculating a second matrix that maximizes channel capacity, determining an antenna virtualization matrix by Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) based on the first and second matrices, and transmitting a signal to the reception apparatus using the antenna virtualization matrix.
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour envoyer un signal à un appareil de réception au moyen d’une antenne polarimétrique dans un système de communication sans fil. Le procédé consiste à générer une première matrice au moyen d’un modèle de rayonnement de l’antenne polarimétrique, calculer une deuxième matrice qui rende maximale la capacité de canal, déterminer une matrice de virtualisation d’antenne par une décomposition en valeurs singulières (SVD) basée sur les première et deuxième matrices, et envoyer un signal à l’appareil de réception au moyen de la matrice de virtualisation d’antenne.
