Abstract:
Provided is a signal control apparatus that can perform phase control with high precision by use of a simple structure and a simple process without receiving any influences of external environments. A signal control apparatus comprises: a first delay unit (7) that receives a modulated signal corresponding to the positive component of an input signal; a second delay unit (8) that receives a modulated signal corresponding to the negative component of the input signal; transducers (11, 12) that receive signals outputted from the delay units of the respective systems and that output, as ultrasonic waves, the received signals for the respective systems; a microphone (13) that detects the ultrasonic waves of the respective systems outputted from the transducers (11, 12); a waveform characteristic detection unit (15) that integrates the detected ultrasonic waves of the respective systems, thereby detecting the waveform characteristics of the positive sonic wave and of the negative sonic wave; and a delay adjustment unit (18) that inputs, on the basis of the detected waveform characteristics, to the first delay unit (7) or second delay unit (8), the information of a delay amount that is in accordance with a phase difference between the signal outputted from the first delay unit (7) and the signal outputted from the second delay unit (8) so as to reduce the phase difference.
