Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen thermisch isolierten Verbrennungsmotor, wobei die Oberfläche eines oder mehrere Teile des Verbrennungsmotors ganz oder teilweise mit einem Polyurethanschaumstoff umgeben ist. Weiter betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines thermisch isolierten Verbrennungsmotors, wobei man ein Motorteil vorlegt, den zu umschäumenden Teil des Motorteils mit einer Form umgibt, so dass zwischen Motorteil und Form ein Hohlraum entsteht, eine Polyurethanreaktionsmischung in den Hohlraum gibt, die Polyurethanreaktionsmischung zu einem Polyurethanschaumstoff ausreagieren lässt und die Form entfernt.

The present invention relates to a thermally insulated internal combustion engine, wherein the surface of one or more parts of the internal combustion engine is surrounded completely or partially with a polyurethane foam. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for producing a thermally insulated internal combustion engine, wherein an engine part is presented, that part of the engine part which is to be covered with foam is surrounded with a mould, with the result that a cavity is produced between the engine part and the mould, a polyurethane reaction mixture is fed into the cavity, the polyurethane reaction mixture is allowed to react to form a polyurethane foam, and the mould is removed.

L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne isolé thermiquement, la surface d'une ou de plusieurs pièces du moteur à combustion interne étant entourée en totalité ou en partie de mousse de polyuréthane. L'invention concerne par ailleurs un procédé de fabrication d'un moteur à combustion interne isolé thermiquement, lequel consiste à prendre une pièce du moteur, à entourer d'un moule la partie de la pièce du moteur à enrober de mousse de telle manière qu'un espace vide soit produit entre la pièce du moteur et le moule, à introduire un mélange réactionnel à base de polyuréthane dans l'espace vide, à laisser le mélange réactionnel à base de polyuréthane réagir pour former une mousse de polyuréthane, et à enlever le moule.
