A system and method for agile wireless access network is provided.A method embodiment for agile radio access network management includes determining, by a network controller, capabilities and neighborhood relations of radio nodes in the radio access network. The network controller then configures a back haul network infrastructure for the radio access network in accordance with the capabilities and the neighborhood relations of the radio nodes.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour la gestion agile d'un réseau d'accès sans fil. Un exemple du procédé selon l'invention comprend la détermination, par un contrôleur réseau, de capacités et de relations de voisinage de nœuds radio dans le système d'accès radio. Ensuite, le contrôleur réseau configure une infrastructure de réseau de raccordement pour le réseau d'accès radio d'après les capacités et les relations de voisinage des nœuds radio.
