Abstract:
(EN) This invention provides the following: an electrode comprising a mix of a carbon powder and fibrous carbon wherein the impact of a resin binder or the like is eliminated, the electrical resistance of said electrode is reduced, and said electrode exhibits superb capacity characteristics; an electric double-layer capacitor using said electrode; and a method for manufacturing said electrode. Said method has the one of following steps: a dispersion step in which fibrous carbon and a carbon powder having a grain diameter of less than 100 nm are dispersed in a solvent; or a dispersion step in which fibrous carbon and a carbon powder that has a grain diameter of at least 100 nm but less than 10 µm and has been treated so as to be made porous are dispersed in a solvent via either a process in which jets of a solution are made to collide with each other or a process in which shear stress and centrifugal force are applied to said solution. Said method also has an electrode formation step, after the dispersion step, in which a collector is coated with the solution resulting from the dispersion step, yielding a layer comprising a carbon-powder/fibrous-carbon mix.
(FR) L'invention porte sur les éléments suivants : une électrode comprenant un mélange d'une poudre de carbone et de carbone fibreux dans lequel l'impact d'un liant de résine ou analogue est éliminé, la résistance électrique de ladite électrode est réduite, et ladite électrode présente de superbes caractéristiques de capacité ; un condensateur à double couche électrique utilisant ladite électrode ; et un procédé pour fabriquer ladite électrode. Ledit procédé possède l'une des étapes suivantes : une étape de dispersion dans laquelle du carbone fibreux et une poudre de carbone ayant un diamètre de grain inférieur à 100 nm sont dispersés dans un solvant ; ou une étape de dispersion dans laquelle du carbone fibreux et une poudre de carbone qui possède un diamètre de grain d'au moins 100 nm mais inférieur à 10 µm et qui a été traitée afin d'être poreuse sont dispersés dans un solvant par l'intermédiaire d'un processus dans lequel des jets d'une solution sont réalisés pour entrer en collision les uns avec les autres ou un processus dans lequel une contrainte de cisaillement et une force centrifuge sont appliquées à ladite solution. Ledit procédé possède également une étape de formation d'électrode, après l'étape de dispersion, dans laquelle un collecteur est enrobé avec la solution résultant de l'étape de dispersion, produisant une couche comprenant un mélange de poudre de carbone/carbone fibreux.
