Abstract:
(EN) A polyvinyl alcohol in which the degree of saponification is 50-99.99 mol%, the viscosity-average degree of polymerization is 200-5000, and the alkali metal salt content in a carboxylic acid is 0.5% by mass or less in terms of the mass of the alkali metal, the peak top molecular weight (A) measured by a differential refractometer and the peak top molecular weight (B) measured by an absorption detector (measurement wavelength: 280 nm) satisfying formula (1) ((A - B)/A < 0.75) when the polyvinyl alcohol heated for three hours at 120°C is measured by gel permeation chromatography, and the absorbance at the peak top molecular weight (B) being 0.25×10-3 to 3.00×10-3. A polyvinyl alcohol is thereby provided having minimal heating-induced discoloration and excellent effects for enhancing water dispersibility of organic particles or inorganic particles.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un poly(alcool vinylique) dont le degré de saponification est de 50 à 99,99 % en mole, le degré moyen de polymérisation en viscosité est de 200 à 5000 et la teneur en sel de métal alcalin dans un acide carboxylique est inférieure ou égale à 0,5 % en masse en terme de la masse du métal alcalin, la masse moléculaire au niveau du pic (1), mesurée par réfractométrie différentielle, et la masse moléculaire au niveau du pic (B), mesurée par un détecteur d'absorption (longueur d'onde de mesure : 280 nm), satisfaisant à la formule (1), ((A - B)/A < 0,75), lorsque le poly(alcool vinylique) chauffé pendant trois heures à 120 °C est mesuré par chromatographie sur gel et l'absorbance à la masse moléculaire au niveau du pic (B) étant de 0,25×10-3 à 3,00×10-3. De cette manière on produit un poly(alcool vinylique) ayant une décoloration induite par le chauffage minimale et d'excellents effets pour accroître la dispersibilité de particules organiques ou de particules inorganiques dans l'eau.
(JA)  けん化度が50~99.99モル%、粘度平均重合度が200~5000、カルボン酸のアルカリ金属塩の含有量がアルカリ金属の質量換算で0.5質量%以下であるポリビニルアルコールであって、120℃において3時間加熱された前記ポリビニルアルコールをゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー測定したときの、示差屈折率検出器で測定されるピークトップ分子量(A)と、吸光光度検出器(測定波長280nm)で測定されるピークトップ分子量(B)が下記式(1) (A-B)/A<0.75 (1) を満たし、かつピークトップ分子量(B)における吸光度が0.25×10-3~3.00×10-3となるポリビニルアルコール。これにより、加熱による着色が少なく、かつ有機粒子や無機粒子の水分散性を向上させる効果に優れたポリビニルアルコールが提供される。
