(EN) A mechanical seal device is provided with: a rotating ring (7) which is affixed to a rotating shaft (300); a stationary ring (4) which is in slidable contact with the rotating ring (7) to form an annular seal surface (S); a bellows (5) which supports the stationary ring (4) so that the stationary ring (4) presses the rotating ring (7); a spring (6) which presses the stationary ring (4) against the rotating ring (7), and a seal cover (2) which is mounted to a housing (200), supports the bellows (5) so that the outer peripheral surface of the bellows (5) is located inside (A) the housing (200) relative to the seal surface (S), and supports the spring (6) at a position outside (B) the housing (200) relative to the seal surface (S) and axially next to the bellows (5).
