Abstract:
Provided is an optical unit with a shake correction function, said optical unit being capable of obtaining a large driving force when an optical module is made to swing. In the optical unit (100), a rectangular moveable frame (32) is positioned between an optical module (10) and a square tube-shaped body section (1210) of a stationary body (20). The moveable frame (32) is swingably supported by the stationary body (20), and the moveable frame (32) swingably supports the optical module (10). A gimbal mechanism (30) that uses the moveable frame (32) is disposed at a position that overlaps with a shake correction drive mechanism (500), when viewed from a direction orthogonal to an optical axis (L) direction. A plate-shaped spring (70) is connected to the optical module (10) and the stationary body (20), and when driving is stopped, the optical module (10) is reliably returned to an original orientation. The plate-shaped spring (70) is also disposed at a position that overlaps with the shake correction drive mechanism (500), when viewed from the direction orthogonal to the optical axis (L) direction.
