(EN)The invention concerns a method (300) for transmitting an OFDM signal with a reduction of the PAPR of the transmitted signal. The reduction is obtained by a processing operation that comprises transforming M symbols XIn of the extended initial constellation into M corrected symbols X'n. The correction (306) is determined from a pre-construction (302, 307) of the time signal before IFFT performed carrier after carrier and by using (304, 305) a decision criterion based on a measurement of powers of the peaks of the preconstructed signal.
