(EN)The invention provides computer-implemented methods for screening proteins such as antibodies based on viscosity properties. The methods involve making a spatial charge map (SCM) of the three- dimensional structure of the antibody or protein and determine a SCM score depending on a condition such as e.g. pH, which score correlates with the viscosity. Thus a quantitative measure of the viscosity is obtained.
(FR)La présente invention concerne des procédés informatisés pour le tamisage de protéines telles que des anticorps sur la base de propriétés de viscosité. Les procédés mettent en jeu la réalisation d'une carte de charge spatiale (SCM) de la structure tridimensionnelle de l'anticorps ou la protéine et déterminent un score de SCM en fonction d'une condition telle que, par exemple, le pH, ledit score étant corrélé à la viscosité. Une mesure quantitative de la viscosité est ainsi obtenue.
