This friction material contains a titanate compound and a bonding material, and is characterized in that the titanate compound makes up 1-22 vol% of the total content of the friction material, and the bonding material makes up 18 vol% or more of the total content of the friction material.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un matériau de frottement ayant d'excellentes caractéristiques de surchauffe et une excellente résistance à l'abrasion, et un matériau de frottement pour frein à tambour.
