(EN)Supplementation of the bioflavonoids such as epigallocatechin gallate, rutin, naringin, or genistein into mammalian cell culture media are shown to be effective in reduction of acidic species variants on recombinant antibodies. The demonstrated reduction in acidic species through the use of bioflavonoids, facilitates the manufacturing of a less heterogeneous product with potential improvements in antibody structure and function.
(FR)Selon l'invention, la supplémentation en bioflavonoïdes tels que le gallate d'épigallocatéchine, la rutine, la naringine, ou la génistéine des milieux de cultures cellulaires de mammifères s'est avérée efficace pour réduire les variants d'espèces acides sur les anticorps recombinés. La réduction démontrée des espèces acides grâce à l'utilisation de bioflavonoïdes facilite la fabrication d'un produit moins hétérogène présentant des améliorations potentielles dans la structure et la fonction des anticorps.
