(EN)The present invention relates to a method for reinforcing a pillar part so as to enable the ground between two or more tunnels adjacently constructed to serve as the pillar part and an excavation method. The method is characterized by including the steps of: firstly excavating the leading part of a first tunnel formed in parallel with a second tunnel with a given space; inserting and grouting a plurality of reinforcing rods into bores formed in the side wall of the first tunnel to serve as the pillar part between the first tunnel and the second tunnel, the reinforcing rods penetrating an unexcavated part (12) of the pillar part into the side of the second tunnel so as to be exposed when excavating the second tunnel; casting surface reinforcing shotcrete to the reinforcing rods (20') exposed by excavating the second tunnel so as to form a plate structure (40) to which a pressure plate is placed and fastened by nuts; and casting surface reinforcing shotcrete to the reinforcing rods exposed by excavating an excavated part (12) of the pillar part at the side of the first tunnel so as to form a plate structure (40) to which a pressure plate is placed and fastened by nuts.
