(EN)According to an aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of demodulating a signal, comprising determining one or more gate characteristics for a signal and generating a gate signal having the one or more characteristics, controlling a digital gate operating on the signal according to the gate signal to provide a gated signal, and quadrature synchronous demodulating the gated signal to determine a magnitude and phase of the signal.
