(EN)The present describes a chiral nematic cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) film comprising: cellulose nanocrystals that self-assemble to form an iridescent CNC structure, wherein the self-assembled structure comprises a finger-print pattern of repeating bright and dark regions, defining a pitch of the iridescent film, where the pitch variable. Also described are conductive polymer nanocomposite based on the CNC film. Further described is the electrophoretic method of producing the chiral nematic cellulose nanocrystal film as well as the polymer nanocomposites and the apparatus used.
(FR)La présente invention décrit un film de nanocristal de cellulose nématique chirale (CNC) comprenant : des nanocristaux de cellulose qui s'auto-assemblent pour former une structure de CNC irisée, la structure-auto assemblée comprenant un motif d'empreinte digitale de régions claires et sombres de répétition, définissant un pas du film irisé, où le pas est variable. L'invention concerne également un nanocomposite polymère conducteur basé sur le film de CNC. L'invention concerne de plus le procédé électrophorétique de production du film de nanocristal de cellulose nématique chirale ainsi que les nanocomposites polymères et l'appareil utilisé.
