(EN)A vehicle control device comprising: a rotating machine; a clutch transmitting torque to the rotating machine by engaging therewith; and a detection unit that detects change in the cogging torque of the rotating machine. The vehicle control device learns (steps S105, S110, and S111) the engagement position of the clutch, on the basis of the change (steps S104-Y, S109-Y) in the cogging torque when the clutch stroke of the clutch is changed (steps S103, S108), if the rotating machine is stopped (step S101-Y).
