The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for compensating a motion vector of an enhancement layer so as to predict an inter-layer differential coefficient. In the case of generating a differential coefficient in a reference layer using a motion vector of the enhancement layer, motion vector information of the enhancement layer may not be used as is due to different frame rates of the reference layer and the enhancement layer. This problem can be solved by the encoding/decoding apparatus and method comprising the steps of: extracting motion information of the enhancement layer; adjusting the motion information of the enhancement layer; and predicting an inter-layer differential signal.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de compenser un vecteur mouvement d'une couche à enrichissement afin de prédire un coefficient différentiel entre les couches. Dans le cas de la génération d'un coefficient différentiel dans une couche de référence à l'aide d'un vecteur mouvement de la couche à enrichissement, il est possible que les informations du vecteur mouvement de la couche à enrichissement ne soient pas utilisées dans la couche de référence en raison de la différence entre les fréquences d'images de la couche de référence et de la couche à enrichissement. Ce problème est résolu grâce à un appareil et un procédé de codage/décodage qui impliquent : l'extraction d'informations de mouvement de la couche à enrichissement ; l'ajustement des informations de mouvement de la couche à enrichissement ; et la prédiction d'un signal différentiel entre les couches.

본 발명은 계층간 차분 계수 예측을 위하여 향상 계층의 움직임 벡터를 보상하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 향상 계층의 움직임 벡터를 사용하여 참조 계층에서 차분 계수를 생성하는 경우, 참조 계층과 향상 계층의 프레임 레이트의 불일치로 인하여 향상 계층의 움직임 벡터 정보를 그대로 사용할 수 없을 수 있다. 해당 부호화/복호화 방법 및 장치는 향상 계층의 움직임 정보 추출 단계; 향상 계층의 움직임 정보 조정 단계; 계층간 차분 신호 예측 단계를 포함함으로써 상기 문제를 해결한다.
