Abstract
(EN) An aqueous iron suspension is disclosed, which comprises solid iron particles in the nanometer size range, which is prepared from ferrous-sulphate (FeSO4); copper-sulphate (CuS4), a reducing agent, and/or sodium-borohydride (NaBH4); sodium-hydroxide (NaOH); and optionally additives. Furthermore, a process is disclosed for the preparation of the iron suspension according to the invention, comprising the steps of forming of an aqueous solution comprising: a) aqueous ferrous-sulphate (FeSO4) or hydrated ferrous-sulphate (FeSO4×7H2O); sodium-ditionite (Na2S2O); sodium-borohydride (NaBH4); sodium-hydroxide (NaOH) and hydrated copper-sulphate (CuSO4×5H2O) starting materials; b) reaction of the reaction mixture according to step a) for 0,1-10 hours; and c) obtaining of the suspended product. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of the iron suspension according to the invention for decontamination, preferably for the decontamination of soil, water, waste water or gas mixtures. Further, the invention relates to a device for the preparation of the iron suspension according to the invention.˙
(FR) L'invention concerne une suspension aqueuse de fer, comprenant des particules de fer solide d'échelle nanométrique, ladite suspension étant préparée à partir de sulfate ferreux (FeSO4) ; de sulfate de cuivre (CuSO4), un agent réducteur, et/ou de borohydrure de sodium (NaBH4) ; d'hydroxyde de sodium (NaOH) ; et éventuellement d'additifs. Est également divulgué un procédé permettant de préparer la suspension de fer selon l'invention, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à former une solution aqueuse comprenant : a) du sulfate ferreux aqueux (FeSO4) ou du sulfate ferreux hydraté (FeSO4×7H2O) ; du dithionite de sodium (Na2S2O) ; du borohydrure de sodium (NaBH4) ; de l'hydroxyde de sodium (NaOH) et du sulfate de cuivre hydraté (CuSO4×5H2O) en tant que matériaux de départ ; b) faire réagir le mélange réactionnel de l'étape a) pendant 0,1 à 10 heures ; et c) obtenir le produit en suspension. L'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation de la suspension de fer selon l'invention à des fins de dépollution, de préférence de dépollution des sols, de l'eau, des eaux usées ou des mélanges gazeux. L'invention porte également sur un dispositif permettant de préparer la suspension de fer selon l'invention.
