An optical mixer and a method for performing signal demodulation using an optical mixer. The optical mixer comprises: two cubic non-polarized beam splitters (BSes) (301, 304), and two cubic polarized beam splitters (PBSes) (302, 303), wherein the two BSes and the two PBSes form a cuboid block, and a beam splitting interface of the two BSes is located in a first plane, a beam splitting interface of the two PBSes is located in a second plane, and the first plane and the second plan are perpendicular to each other. The optical mixer avoids using the planar optical waveguide (PLC) technology, and realizes demodulation of a modulated signal by using the space optics based cubic non-polarized beam splitters (BSes) and the cubic polarized beam splitters (PBSes) which have lower costs, smaller insertion loss, and higher temperature stability, thereby reducing the cost of the optical mixer, reducing the insertion loss, and improving the temperature stability.

L'invention concerne un mélangeur optique et un procédé de réalisation d'une démodulation de signal au moyen du mélangeur optique. Le mélangeur optique comprend : deux diviseurs de faisceau cubiques non polarisés (BS) (301, 304), et deux diviseurs de faisceau cubiques polarisés (PBS) (302, 303), les deux BS et les deux PBS formant un bloc parallélépipédique, et une interface de division de faisceau des deux BS étant située dans un premier plan, une interface de division de faisceau des deux PBS étant située dans un second plan, et le premier plan et le second plan étant perpendiculaires l'un à l'autre. Le mélangeur optique évite d'utiliser la technologie de guide d'ondes optiques plan (PLC), et réalise une démodulation d'un signal modulé en utilisant les diviseurs de faisceau cubiques non polarisés (BS) fondés sur une optique spatiale et les diviseurs de faisceau cubiques polarisés (PBS) qui présente des coûts plus faibles, une plus petite perte d'insertion, et une stabilité plus élevée à la température, ce qui réduit le coût du mélangeur optique, réduit la perte d'insertion, et améliore la stabilité à la température.

一种光混合器以及应用光混合器进行信号解调的方法。光混合器包括:两个立方体的非偏振光束分束器BS(301、304),以及两个立方体的偏振光束分束器PBS(302、303)。其中两个BS和两个PBS组成一个长方体块,且两个BS的分束界面位于第一平面中,两个PBS的分束界面位于第二平面中,第一平面与第二平面相互垂直。该光混合器避免了使用平面光波导PLC技术,而是采用了成本更低、插入损耗较小、温度稳定性较高的,基于空间光学的立方体的非偏振光束分束器BS和立方体的偏振光分束器PBS实现对调制信号的解调。从而,降低了光混合器的成本,减小了插入损耗,提高了温度稳定性。
