Disclosed is a method for performing X-ray Computed Tomography scanning, the method including acquiring a plurality of images of an object, obtaining an initial image from the plurality of images, calculating NonLocal weight of the initial image, utilizing a current image estimation and registered prior image, performing a successive over-relaxation optimization to yield a new image estimation with an intensity of the new image estimation equal or greater than zero, performing a cycle update, generating an image of the object utilizing the new image estimation obtained from the optimization, and outputting a resultant image.

La présente invention concerne un procédé qui permet de réaliser un balayage de tomodensitométrie, le procédé consistant à acquérir une pluralité d'images d'un objet, à obtenir une image initiale parmi la pluralité d'images, à calculer le poids non local de l'image initiale, à utiliser une évaluation d'image actuelle et une image antérieure enregistrée, à effectuer une optimisation de la surrelaxation successive afin d'aboutir à une nouvelle évaluation d'image, l'intensité de la nouvelle évaluation d'image étant égale ou supérieure à zéro, à réaliser une mise à jour de cycle, à générer une image de l'objet grâce à la nouvelle évaluation d'image obtenue à l'aide de l'optimisation, et à émettre une image résultante.
