Abstract

An iron producing blast furnace hot blast generator comprises a pressurised combustion chamber; a heat source (19) for the combustion chamber; a compressor (18) to compress blast furnace gas; a blast furnace gas (9) inlet (23) to the combustion chamber for supplying compressed blast furnace gas from the compressor to the chamber; an air compressor (22) or source of oxygen at pressure; an air or oxygen inlet (24) respectively, connected to the combustion chamber (15) for supplying pressurised air or oxygen (11) to the chamber; a hot blast outlet (25) from the chamber; and a controller to control heat and gas supply to the chamber. The combustion chamber further comprises at least one enrichment gas inlet (10); and wherein the generator further comprises an oxygen inlet (13) coupled to the hot blast outlet.

L'invention porte sur un générateur de vent chaud pour haut fourneau produisant du fer, comprenant une chambre de combustion sous pression; une source de chaleur (19) pour la chambre de combustion; un compresseur (18) pour comprimer le gaz de haut fourneau; une entrée (23) de gaz de haut fourneau (9) vers la chambre de combustion pour l'apport à la chambre de gaz de haut fourneau comprimé provenant du compresseur; un compresseur d'air (22) ou une source d'oxygène sous pression; une entrée (24) d'air ou d'oxygène respectivement, raccordée à la chambre de combustion (15) pour l'apport d'air ou d'oxygène sous pression (11) à la chambre; une sortie (25) de vent chaud sortant de la chambre; et un dispositif de commande pour commander l'apport de chaleur et de gaz à la chambre. La chambre de combustion comprend en outre au moins une entrée (10) de gaz d'enrichissement; et le générateur comprend en outre une entrée (13) d'oxygène couplée à la sortie de vent chaud.
