A multi-fiber ferrule includes a ferrule body made of a first material and has at least one alignment passage in the front face. The alignment passage has first and second sections. An insert is positioned within the first section of the alignment passage and is formed of a second material that is tougher than the first material. The insert has an insert hole coaxial with a central axis of the alignment passage.

L'invention concerne une ferrule multifibres comprenant un corps de ferrule réalisé à partir d'un premier matériau et ayant au moins un passage d'alignement dans la face avant. Le passage d'alignement a des première et seconde sections. Une pièce rapportée est positionnée à l'intérieur de la première section du passage d'alignement et est formée à partir d'un second matériau qui est plus résistant que le premier matériau. La pièce rapportée a un trou pour pièce rapportée coaxial par rapport à un axe central du passage d'alignement.
