The present invention includes methods for forming a retreaded tire, which includes the steps of providing an annular tire carcass and providing a plurality of tread components each comprising an independent structure, which are then assembled to form an assembled tire tread. The tread is subsequently bonded to the tire carcass to form a retreaded tire, the tire tread being arranged along an outer circumference of the annular tire carcass with a bonding layer between the tire tread and the tire carcass, the bonding layer comprising an uncured elastomeric material being cured during the step of bonding. The tire tread is assembled such that the plurality of tread components are concurrently arranged around the outer circumference of the tire carcass to form a tire tread.

La présente invention concerne des procédés de formation d'un pneu rechapé, qui incluent les étapes de fourniture d'une carcasse de pneu annulaire et la fourniture d'une pluralité de composants de chape comprenant chacun une structure indépendante, qui sont ensuite assemblés pour former une chape de pneu assemblée. La chape est subséquemment liée à la carcasse de pneu pour former un pneu rechapé, la chape de pneu étant disposée le long d'une circonférence externe de la carcasse de pneu annulaire avec une couche de liaison entre la chape de pneu et la carcasse de pneu, la couche de liaison comprenant un matériau élastomère non durci qui durcit durant l'étape de liaison. La chape de pneu est assemblée de telle sorte que la pluralité de composants de chape sont disposés en même temps autour de la circonférence externe de la carcasse de pneu pour former une chape de pneu.
