A method comprising: receiving at a user equipment a channel which is shared with a plurality of other user equipment; determining from first information provided by said channel if second information carried by said channel is for said user equipment; and if said determining determines that said second information is for said user equipment, receiving said second information, and if not, causing said user equipment to be in a discontinuous reception mode with respect to said channel.

L’invention concerne un procédé consistant à : recevoir en un équipement d’utilisateur un canal qui est partagé par une pluralité d’autres équipements d’utilisateur ; déterminer, d’après des premières informations émises par ledit canal, si des deuxièmes informations transportées par ledit canal sont destinées audit équipement d’utilisateur ; et si ladite détermination a permis d’établir que lesdites deuxièmes informations sont destinées audit équipement d’utilisateur, recevoir lesdites deuxièmes informations et, si ce n’est pas le cas, faire en sorte que ledit équipement d’utilisateur soit en mode de réception discontinue en ce qui concerne ledit canal.
