Abstract
(EN)
A self-contained apparatus and methods for detecting the presence of any specified substance in any medium. A sample of the medium is placed in a capsule, along with a solvent and a sensor configured to test for a target analyte. The solvent comes into contact with the medium in the capsule, and the capsule is agitated to create a dispersion in the solvent of a portion of any target analyte present in the medium. A release mechanism configured to cause conduction of the dispersion to the sensor, so that the sensor produces an indication of presence of the target analyte if the target analyte is present in the medium. The apparatus uses a disposable capsule where the medium in question is placed and the disposable capsule is placed inside a reader and analyzed for presence of the harmful substance.

L'invention porte sur un appareil auto-contenu et sur des procédés pour détecter la présence de toute substance spécifiée dans n'importe quel milieu. Un échantillon du milieu est disposé dans une capsule, avec un solvant et un capteur configuré de façon à tester un analyte cible. Le solvant vient en contact avec le milieu dans la capsule, et la capsule est agitée de façon à créer une dispersion dans le solvant d'une partie de tout analyte cible présent dans le milieu. Un mécanisme de relâchement est configuré de façon à provoquer une conduction de la dispersion vers le capteur, de telle sorte que le capteur produit une indication de la présence de l'analyte cible si l'analyte cible est présent dans le milieu. L'appareil utilise une capsule jetable, dans laquelle le milieu en question est disposé, et la capsule jetable est disposée à l'intérieur d'un lecteur et analysée en ce qui concerne la présence de la substance dangereuse.
