The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire for purposes of racing and the like, having a half-radial structured cord location where a nylon fiber cord is used as a carcass cord, the pneumatic tire fully taking advantage of the inherent cord characteristics of the nylon fiber carcass cord and providing excellent operational stability and durability. The pneumatic tire according to the present invention is a half-radial structured pneumatic tire in which the carcass cord is inclined with respect to a tire radial direction and provided with an angle of 55 to 85º with respect to a tire circumferential direction as measured at a center position in a tread width direction, and is characterized in that: the carcass cord has a modulus of elasticity of 3 to 10 GPa; the carcass cord has a twist coefficient α of 1500 to 2500; and the tire has an intermediate elongation difference of not more than 1.0% at 2.0 cN/dtex between a center portion and a side portion of the carcass cord, where the twist coefficient α = N × √T, N is the number of twists per 10 cm in length of the fiber cord, and T is the fineness (dtex) of the fiber cord.

La présente invention vise à créer un pneumatique pour la course et analogue, qui présente un emplacement de câblé à structure semi-radiale dans lequel un câblé en fibre de nylon est utilisé comme câblé de carcasse, le pneumatique tirant entièrement avantage des caractéristiques inhérentes du câblé de carcasse en fibre de nylon et possédant une excellente stabilité de fonctionnement et une excellente durabilité. Le pneumatique selon la présente invention est un pneumatique à structure semi-radiale, dans lequel le câblé de carcasse est incliné par rapport à une direction radiale de pneumatique et doté d'un angle de 55 à 85° par rapport à une direction circonférentielle de pneumatique, mesuré en un point central dans une direction de largeur de bande de roulement, et est caractérisé en ce que : le câblé de carcasse a un module d'élasticité de 3 à 10 GPa ; le câblé de carcasse a un coefficient de torsion α de 1500 à 2500 ; et le pneumatique a une différence d'allongement intermédiaire qui n'est pas supérieure à 1,0 % à 2,0 cN/dtex entre une partie centrale et une partie latérale du câblé de carcasse ; dans le coefficient de torsion α = N × √T, N est le nombre de tours par 10 cm de longueur du câblé fibreux et T est la finesse (dtex) du câblé fibreux.
