A shock absorber is provided with: an extension-side chamber and a pressure-side chamber, which are formed within a cylinder; a housing which forms a pressure chamber; a free piston which divides the inside of the pressure chamber into an extension-side pressure chamber connecting to the extension-side chamber and into a pressure-side pressure chamber connecting to the pressure-side chamber; and an extension-side spring and a pressure-side spring, which exhibit pressing force for suppressing the displacement of the free piston from the neutral position thereof. The pressure-side spring has non-linear characteristics by which the spring constant of the pressure-side spring increases as the pressure-side spring is compressed.

L'invention porte sur un amortisseur comprenant : une chambre côté extension et une chambre côté pression, qui sont formées à l'intérieur d'un cylindre ; un corps qui forme une chambre de pression ; un piston libre qui divise l'intérieur de la chambre de pression en une chambre de pression côté extension, reliée à la chambre côté extension, et une chambre de pression côté pression, reliée à la chambre côté pression ; et un ressort côté extension et un ressort côté pression, qui présentent une force de pression destinée à supprimer le déplacement du piston libre par rapport à sa position neutre. Le ressort côté pression a des caractéristiques non-linéaires sous l'effet desquelles la constante élastique du ressort côté pression croît lorsque le ressort côté pression est comprimé.
