Provided are: a steel material which has a hardness of 58HRC or more and which is suitable for production of a cold working die; and processes for producing a steel material, a prehardened steel product and a cold working die respectively. The present invention pertains to a steel material which has a hardness of 58HRC or more and which is to be used for the production of a cold working die. The steel material is cut into a prehardened steel product having sizes corresponding to those of the cold working die, and then used in the production thereof. The steel material has a quenched and tempered structure and a hardness of 58HRC or more, and exhibits a content of primary carbides having equivalent-circle diameter of 5μm or more in the sectional structure of 2% by area or less. Further, the present invention pertains to: a process by which the steel material for a die can be favorably produced; a process for producing a prehardened steel product subsequently to the production of the steel material; and a process for producing a cold working die.

La présente invention concerne : un matériau d’acier qui a une dureté de 58HRC ou plus et qui est adapté pour la production d’une matrice de formage à froid ; et des procédés pour produire un matériau d’acier, un produit d’acier prédurci et une matrice de formage à froid, respectivement. La présente invention concerne un matériau d’acier qui a une dureté de 58HRC ou plus et qui doit être utilisé pour la production d’une matrice de formage à froid. Le matériau d’acier est découpé en produit d’acier prédurci ayant des tailles correspondant à celles de la matrice de formage à froid, et ensuite utilisé dans la production de celle-ci. Le matériau d’acier a une structure refroidie et trempée et une dureté de 58HRC ou plus, et présente une teneur en carbures primaires ayant un diamètre de cercle équivalent de 5 µm ou plus dans la structure de section transversale de 2 % en aire ou moins. De plus, la présente invention concerne : un procédé par lequel le matériau d’acier pour une matrice peut être favorablement produit ; un procédé pour produire un produit d’acier prédurci consécutivement à la production du matériau d’acier ; et un procédé pour produire une matrice de formage à froid.

 58HRC以上の硬さを有する冷間加工用金型の製造に適した鋼素材と、鋼素材、プリハードン鋼材、冷間加工用金型それぞれの製造方法を提供する。 58HRC以上の硬さを有する冷間加工用金型の製造に供される鋼素材であり、前記冷間加工用金型の寸法に対応した大きさのプリハードン鋼材に切断されて使用される鋼素材であって、該鋼素材は、焼入れおよび焼戻しされた組織を有し、硬さが58HRC以上であり、断面組織中における円相当径で5μm以上の一次炭化物が2面積%以下である金型用鋼素材である。 そして、前記金型用鋼素材を得るのに好ましい金型用鋼素材の製造方法と、これに続く金型用プリハードン鋼材の製造方法、そして、冷間加工用金型の製造方法である。
