Abstract:
(EN) A hybrid composite nanomaterial comprising a hydrotalcite like layered double hydroxide compound provided with one or more lanthanide elements inserted into the 2D layers and one or more organic- inorganic (DONOR/ACCEPTOR) compounds, or acids or salts thereof, intercalated between them as shown in figure 1 and figure 31. The innovative co-axial design for encapsulating the active layer(s) of a hybrid organic-inorganic solar cell, together with the insertion of the hydrotalcite like nanocomposite, for light energy down and up conversion, thereby not only providing the active material more convertible energy, but also provide the opportunity to incorporate insitu the co-axial geometry or envisage a standalone pair of a Photoelectrochemical (PEC) and Fuel cell (FC), to work in parallel to the organic inorganic solar cell, or as standalone respectively. The nanocomposite hydrotalcite like materials, or their derivatives, are projected to be dispersed inside the co-axial geometry, where they can occupy the role of respective electrodes for the PEC/FC and also adsorb the evolved hydrogen for its future use, whereby they can also convert the excess hydrogen into utilizable electricity, when in presence of organic inorganic solar cell as its complementary existence around its co-axial layers, or inside it as shown in figure 32 (a) and (b). The potential to use the co-axial, hybrid organic inorganic cell (PEC/FC) as standalone driven by any other power source, than the organic inorganic solar cell is also envisaged upon.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un nanomatériau composite hybride comprenant un composé à double hydroxyde stratifié de type hydrotalcite pourvu d'un ou plusieurs éléments lanthanides insérés dans les couches 2D et un ou plusieurs composés organiques-inorganiques (DONNEUR/ACCEPTEUR), ou des acides ou des sels de ceux-ci, intercalés entre ceux-ci comme décrit sur la figure 1 et la figure 31. La conception coaxiale innovante pour encapsuler la/les couche(s) actives(s) d'une cellule solaire hybride organique-inorganique, conjointement avec l'insertion du nanocomposite de type hydrotalcite, pour la conversion descendante et ascendante d'énergie lumineuse, de manière non seulement à fournir au matériau actif une énergie plus convertible, mais également offrir l'opportunité d'incorporer in situ la géométrie coaxiale ou envisager une paire autonome d'une cellule photoélectrochimique (PEC) et de combustible (FC), pour fonctionner en parallèle avec la cellule solaire organique-inorganique, ou de façon autonome respectivement. Les matériaux de type hydrotalcite nanocomposite, ou leurs dérivés, sont destinés à être dispersés à l'intérieur de la géométrie coaxiale, où ils peuvent jouer le rôle d'électrodes respectives pour la PEC/FC et également adsorber l'hydrogène dégagé pour son utilisation future, de sorte qu'ils puissent également convertir l'hydrogène en excès en électricité utilisable, lorsqu'ils sont en présence d'une cellule solaire organique-inorganique dans le cas de son existence complémentaire autour de ses couches coaxiales, ou à l'intérieur de celles-ci comme décrit sur la figure 32 (a) et (b). La possibilité d'utiliser la cellule organique-inorganique hybride coaxiale (PEC/FC) de façon autonome, excitée par une source d'énergie quelconque autre que la cellule solaire organique-inorganique est également envisagée.
