Abstract
(EN) A method for authenticating a message by a wireless device is described. The wireless device obtains the input message. The wireless device generates a keystream. The wireless device computes a message authentication code using the keystream and a universal hash function. The universal hash function is computed using carryless multiplication.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'authentifier un message par un dispositif sans fil. Le dispositif sans fil reçoit le message d'entrée. Le dispositif sans fil génère une séquence de clé. Le dispositif sans fil calcule un code d'authentification de message au moyen de la séquence de clé et d'une fonction de hachage universelle. La fonction de hachage universelle est calculée au moyen d'une CLMUL.
