L'invention concerne de façon spécifique une technique pour produire un coke à résistance élevée à l'aide d'un charbon ayant une faible teneur d'ingrédient inerte qui a été rarement utilisé jusqu'ici comme matière première pour la production d'un coke. L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un coke métallurgique par carbonisation d'un charbon mélangé comprenant des charbons vendus sous de multiples marques, dans lequel 10 à 75 % en masse, bornes incluses, d'un charbon à faible teneur en ingrédient inerte ayant une fluidité maximale de 80 à 3000 ddpm, bornes incluses, et une teneur en ingrédient inerte de 3,5 à 11,7 % en volume, bornes incluses, est ajouté au charbon mélangé.
