Abstract
(EN) A source array generates seismic waves in water during a marine seismic survey. The source array includes a first sub-array including plural source elements; plural acoustic transceivers distributed along the first sub-array; a positioning system; a primary position control device configured to control a position of the first sub-array; and a secondary position control system configured to adjust a depth of the first sub-array. The source array may include plural sub-arrays long which plural acoustiv transceivers are distributed. The acoustic transceivers are configured to communicate among themselves to measure relative distances between the source elements.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un réseau de sources générant des ondes sismiques dans l'eau lors d'une prospection sismique marine. Le réseau de sources comprend un premier sous-réseau comportant plusieurs éléments de source; plusieurs émetteurs/récepteurs acoustiques répartis le long du premier sous-réseau; un système de positionnement; un dispositif primaire d'ajustement de position conçu pour ajuster la position du premier sous-réseau; et un système secondaire d'ajustement de position conçu pour ajuster la profondeur du premier sous-réseau.
