Abstract
(EN) A theft-resistant, tamper-resistant photovoltaic solar system is. provided with at least one modem for receiving a code signal from a remote location, one solar panel having solar cells and at least one switch for turning the systems current on and off controlled using a coded signal unique to the switch or to the solar panel or system. It especially suited for providing electricity to customers who cannot afford the costs of conventional solar systems. A company rents the systems to customers with an affordable, refundable deposit and periodic rent. Components of the system prevent and/or disincentive theft and tampering by automatically deactivating the system after a selected time and/or by allowing remote deactivation of a system moved to an unauthorized location or tampered with, or at a predetermined time. The company can also activate the system remotely on a periodic basis so long as the periodic rent is being paid.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système solaire photovoltaïque antivol et inviolable qui comporte au moins un modem pour recevoir un signal codé en provenance d'un emplacement distant, un panneau solaire comprenant des cellules solaires et au moins un interrupteur, servant à débloquer et bloquer le courant du système, commandé à l'aide d'un signal codé particulier à l'interrupteur ou au panneau solaire ou au système solaire. Le système est particulièrement adapté pour fournir de l'électricité à des consommateurs qui ne peuvent pas assumer les coûts de systèmes solaires classiques. Une entreprise loue les systèmes à des consommateurs moyennant un dépôt remboursable modique et un loyer périodique.
