(EN) A tool chuck (1) for clamping a tool in a machine tool, said tool chuck having a main body (2) and a sleeve part (3) which projects therefrom and forms a tool receptacle (4) for frictionally securing a tool shaft. In the tool chuck is formed a cavity in which a vibration-damping component (7) is provided.
