Abstract:
(EN) Presence detection using Bluetooth and hybrid-mode transmitters is disclosed. In some embodiments, one or more transmitters are configured to transmit an iBeacon broadcast and a proprietary Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) broadcast, wherein at least one of the transmitted broadcasts includes an identifier that specifies a venue. The broadcasts are captured by a handset and decoded to infer presence of the handset at the venue.
(FR) L'invention concerne la détection de présence à l'aide d'émetteurs Bluetooth et en mode hybride. Dans certains modes de réalisation, un ou plusieurs émetteurs sont configurés pour transmettre une diffusion de iBalise et une diffusion Bluetooth à basse énergie (BTLE) propriétaire, au moins l'une des diffusions transmises comprenant un identifiant qui spécifie un lieu d'événement. Les diffusions sont capturées par un combiné téléphonique et décodées pour déduire la présence du combiné téléphonique sur le lieu de l'événement.
